This week’s featured product(s) are cheek colors from the Ignis Antiquita, Goddess, and Brilliant Deductions lines! SHOP
The lovely Okeanides retire on September 1st! This will be their last time on the weekly sale before then, so now is the time to purchase.
“OKEANIDES”, which translates to “Daughters of Oceanus”, is inspired by the Okeanid nymphs of Greek mythology. The daughters of Okeanos (Oceanus) were three thousand goddess Nymphs who presided over the sources of earth’s water, ranging from rainclouds to subterranean springs and fountains. Each nymph is paired with the visual inspiration of a classical painting. –> SHOP!
Newly reformulated and now available in the deluxe sample size!
** Reformulated: All sizes of this shade as of the 5/23 restocking are a new and improved formula. This formula features added ingredients for adhesion and wear, which also intensify the color shifts and make it easier to wear and blend over both bare skin and a variety of primers. As always, I recommend a regular cream base such as NYX eyeshadow base. Your mileage may vary with sticky glue type primers.
This week’s featured sale product is the 40 shade IGNIS ANTIQUITA collection! Looking for work-safe complex neutrals and soft duochromatic and multichromatic shades inspired by forgotten women of history? Check this collection out! 25% off discount will be taken at checkout. On sale through next Wednesday 11:59 PM PST!
In case you haven’t had a chance to try out shades from the last two month’s Menagerie collections, they are now 25% off!
For obvious reasons, this week’s featured product is the 30 shade “This is my Design” collection (SHOP). These shades are available in sample and full size (no deluxe sample jars available at this time for this set). Will you be watching this evening?!?
When I started working on this collection last Spring, along with Cleolinda and Freddie of Tattle Crime, I had some friends who were surprised at the subject matter, because they thought it was horrific, or gruesome- not necessarily something that beautifully lends itself to cosmetics. After all, even recent advertisements for Hannibal Season 3 describe it as a “horror” show. But here’s the funny thing… I don’t see Hannibal as a horror show, nor as scary. I see it as a beautifully crafted piece of art full of metaphor and allegory, breathtaking imagery and color, and the music… don’t get me started on the perfection of the classical music chosen so wonderfully for each and every scene. The attention to detail of the entire production is just so immensely satisfying.
Visual pairings courtesy of Cleolinda Jones!
This week’s featured 25% off product is the lovely “Anthousai” collection. My newest product release, these shades are gorgeous, buttery smooth, lustrous color-shifting, spring colors. This series focuses on the overall concept of metamorphoses, and myths of maidens turned into flowers and plants. Each one is inspired by the intricate color relationships found in specific classical paintings.
This is the fourth and last collection of the Greek Nymph series- but this doesn’t mean that I’ll stop pursuing my intense special interest in Greek mythology… just that I’ll be looking for more lesser known themes to try as I’ve done a lot of Greek mythology colors over the years and I really love delving deep into history when I work.
The nebula-inspired GALACTIC collection is this week’s featured product, marked down to 25% off savings! This collection was released last month, and this is it’s debut on sale as a weekly featured product.
